NCDA's Conflict of Interest Policy

The NCDA Leadership Team, including Board Members and Headquarters Staff, must avoid a conflict of interest with respect to their fiduciary responsibility and their role as a leader of the association.  

  • When the Leadership Team is deciding upon an issue about which a member has an unavoidable conflict of interest, that member shall absent him or herself from the vote.  The member may absent him/herself from the deliberation when appropriate.
  • The Leadership Team members will disclose any personal or business involvement with other organizations, with vendors, or any other entities that might pose a conflict.

NCDA Non-Endorsement Statement (Sample Forms)

The NCDA provides example documents and forms as a service to members. Inclusion on the website does not imply any endorsement of these forms. Furthermore, inclusion does not indicate that these forms comply with particular licensure or certification requirements. Individual members are responsible for investigating federal mandates and state licensure requirements for specific forms (e.g., HIPPA and Informed Consent).

 

Use of Attendees' Image or Voice

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the National Career Development (NCDA) conferences, meetings, and events constitutes an agreement by the registrant to NCDA for use and distribution, now and in the future, of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audio of such events and activities to illustrate and promote the NCDA experience and products.
